They are not that expensive at NameCheap and that's good, because you don't want to be hit with a big renewal fee for the cert the second year. These "PositiveSSL" certificates are just $9.95 at Namecheap, and the SSL certificate you get for free will renew at that price ($9.95) the following year.

wow.. this is great.. I used to pay about $20/yr with godaddy.. I thought they were the cheapest... Rep is on the way...
