I am from India and for startup Gift Coupon site i am looking for Free Merchant Account / Free Payment Gateway as PayPal is not working well in India now-a-days

I request the seniors to pls guide me in the same.

There won''t be a free solution as there is always risk. Also it will cost money to accept creditcards because the greedy companys charge transaction fees.

I checked both authorize dot net and moneybookers.

authorize dot net have monthly fees.

moneybookers have no fees

i personally recommend moneybookers.

Try 2checkout, but it has a $49 reg fee i think and paypal like transaction fees.
There is plimus.com also, but they have strict policies and they will verify each of you buyers with phone calls, etc for some time till they are sure that you won't have many chargebacks.

Or checkout the mitsu.in payment providers. They accept all Indian cards, netbanking, etc. I think the owner was on this forum too. I think they use CCAvenue.

Ultimately, all payment gateways comes under RBI scanner and you'll face the situation again. Better, try PayPal with a CC.

You can check out licencespal.com they include a free merchant account with one of the billing softwares they offer, and there very low priced on purchasing a monthly lease of a billing system, say WHMCS and it could help your business. I would check into them and do some search on what it can do for your business.
