Free .be domain? Is this true?

Just got an email that states:

Registratie-domein.be allows you to register a free .be domain name, along with free email- and url-forwarding. You are also able to change the DNS settings of your domain.

All you need to do is enter your correct data at http://www.trade.be.

For example, you can register CASTLEMELODY.be.

Can anyone verify if this is true?

I don't know about having them solicit you, though...

it is free for one year. sometimes people can develop a site on it and if they pick up, definitely can renew on next year. who knows the renewal for the next year. they can collect even the first year fee as renewal fee.

I think it is belgian, try using a translator. It either means Domain is not available or Domain is available.

Grab them as soon as possible, many good names are still available.

Do check that renewal rates are not too high.. so far I think freebe has lowest renewal rates €6.61+VAT
