Fraud !!!

I've got this PM on NP from goldspeculator:

"Hi

I saw you were interested in buying 3 letter .coms

I have these:
TQV.com
UQX.com
TYW.com

I am asking $900 for the 3.

Let me know."

He wanted to be paied through e-gold.com and he didn't accept PayPal or Escrow (even if I'd pay the fee) so I was checking the whois ... two different companies own these names, I contact them and one replayd to me that the name is not for sale and they didn't authorized anybody to sell the name.

I did...there are other 2 owners for those 4 domains....

If it turns out that attempts are being made to sell domain names that he does not own (or have an exclusive arrangement(s) to sell on behalf of the owner(s)), we will take the appropriate measures to protect the membership!

I'm glad I did a little research before paying the guy. When the guy didn't accept escrow (with me paying the fee) I knew somthing's fishy....

It is bad to see this kind of peoples...we work so hard for this money ....

Take care...and better spend some time in a little detective work...in special with the newbie ...
