Tips to weed out fraudsters:

- Check the whois and email the contacts of domains you are interested in buying. Be sure you're dealing with the actual owner.

- Insist on Escrow when dealing with sellers that you do not know for high dollar transactions. This scammer was only interested in e-gold payments.
