Forwarding a domain (incl. subdirectories/subdomains) to the same URL

I'm looking for a provider which can offer a service similar to mydomain.com, I should be able to add an unlimited number of domains to forward on external urls in a way which should point anything-you-digit.myname.com and myname.com/anything-you-digit to the same destination url

If the service might also allow to add title, keywords and description for each domain, this would be even better but not required.

MyDomain can offer all this but there's a fee for each added domain while we'd prefer paying a monthly fee for a single hosting where adding multiple domains.

Luigi, I do believe that cPanel should do this for you using the domain parking feature. Any cPanel host should be able to accommodate you on this. However, the optional features you're interested in would not be available with cPanel.

Hi, Thanks for the suggestion, never used the parking feature before ... I know how adding domains but how may I redirect them on a specific url ? May I park multiple domains from the same account and redirecting them on diff. urls ?

Thanks again :)

They'd have to be parked on the domain you wanted for that to work.

There are some domain registrar; who are offering park domain option for no extra charges; however, you would not be able to upload any package. Check with http://www.godaddy.com/ (not sure but can be checked. )

They are parked domain names and this number is different to the each web hosting account you hold ;)

The parked/addon/sub domain features of cPanel might be able to do what you are looking for.
E.g. yoursite.com will point to /home/user/public_html
you can set up yoursite2.com to point to /home/user/public_html (parked domain)

You could then get a custom php script created which would use php to identify which domain the user was visiting and then show dynamic content (e.g. different keywords) to them.

All of this will cost and take time, so you will have to get a quote from a programmer and weigh up if it is worth it.

I suppose that is not so different to manage and I guess you will be able to do so. Moreover I think that there are some programmers on this forum can be found and you can ask them for the help.
