Im considering adding in a blog or forum for cusotmers and potential customers to my limo site in my sig. But cannot decide, and ive never worked with a blog before. The problem is "what fits"? I dont think I can get my VBulletin to look very good, or good enough for the sites theme. Is a blog any easier to manage ?

Any suggestions ?

Thx
K

I prefer blog's, it enables us to write posts which other users can read. We don't allow commenting on the posts or user registration. Therefore It works perfect for sharing information etc. :)

I have read all the thread and almost all of you are in favor of blogs but I shall add that most people hesitate to post comments on blogs. Forums are best way to perform such tasks. People can talk easily and freely there. You should go for a forum instead of Blog.

I think it depends on what you'd be using the blog of forum for. If you'll be mainly using it to post about your services and or promotions, it may be better if you use a blog. If you're more interested in letting users ask questions and you answering them, a forum would be better in my opinion.

I'd go with a forum, wordpress maybe. Easier to use and manage.
Does Wordpress has a forum setup as well? If it is so then it is something entirely new for me. Can I have a link to Wordpress forum setup?

Thanks for the link. Do you have some links which would have bbpress as their forum setup. I have never seen a forum which would had this setup.

In my experience having a forum on a site requires constant checking. It needs a lot of time. While blogging, i just write, then moderate the comments.
Although i have given the suggestion to have a forum but Blogs are better in this way because these have less maintenance issues.
