I have never seen a .name advertised, I don't know of anyone ( other than a domainer) that would even know what a .name is and I would bet that there isn't one company in the world that would choose forex.name for their main web presence, over some longer 3 worded .com or a cctld.
blablaforextradingblabla.com is better than forex.name....imo .name does not have any business credibility. That is what is important and that is why we see real examples of really long names .com and .ca for a companies web presence....real credibility.
Look at Ford's newest ad campaign in Canada... sociallifeaccelerator.ca. (.com) Now that's a long name and it is exactly what you are talking about...blahblahblah.ca / .com, but like I said, .ca and .com carries a lot of credibility and trust....
I would bet that Ford could have regged a way better name for their marketing purposes in a .name...but they chose to go .ca....recognized, trusted and well used.
sociallifeaccelerator.ca
I think that's why .name is weak.
Evidence of long winded ( really poor) .ca and .com's representing real business online are all around me everyday.
