Foreign Language Domains...NOT IDN

How are sales of domain names in a foreign language. Examples like spanish words, german words, etc in a .com

Are they popular and easy to sell? I have some ideas on what im looking to do but need a resource to see if worth going for.

Please dont get confused with IDN. Examples are below

Just curious, why are you excluding IDN?

The Google trends of español and espanol is pretty telling.

Foreign domains are a good investment IMO (whether IDN or not). Although I would be think you'd have a hard time finding much in the most spoken latin languages - ie. Spanish, German, French, Portuguese.

I think they are a good idea. Foreigners use the internet too. People in Germany go to .com sites, so why not? That's my 2 cents. I hope some others who have been around longer will respond to this thread.

I was excluding IDN for the simple fact I have a foreign language im looking to invest in. Single words in a .com format.....I myself since I cant read the char. in a IDN would have a hard time saying something is a word If i dont understand the char.
