discuss For Those Using Ebay Are You Better off Making a Sale Through Auctions or Buy It Now/Offers?

Preface. If an item doesn't sell on Ebay Auctions, you are not charged a fee as long as you do not exceed 250 listings a month. If an item does not sell on Buy It Now You Also are not charged a listing fee .At least that is what I understand.

In terms of listing a domain on Ebay for sale do you have a better chance of making a sale throught sn auction with a relatvely low starting bid price (#25 to $50) or Buy It Now with an Offer Option? Right now I'm listing most domains with Buy It Now with a stated minomum offer. Which do you think will get more Sales, if any at all, Buy it Now or Auctions? Yes if the winning auction bid is under $100, its not worth my time selling it. Keep in mind I'm just using Ebay as a Supplement for items on Afternic.

I just checked and there are currently 312 active auctions and zero have bids.

If you look at completed auction sales, really only 4 letter .com sold for decent amounts.

Everything else doesn't get bids or ends for hardly anything.

It doesn't really matter what you choose to do. eBay is basically a dead venue for domains.

You're right. I did sell a Buy It Now YPE.ai for $400 around 2 months ago which in retrospect was underpriced, I did see some bids for a few domains. I even tried listing the lowest minimum offers thinking maybe Buy It Now Price scared some away but no difference even listing those. I just wish there was any way to get some insights and hows ome of these schmoe domainnames got sold like: Dolar.com $25,000. dirtylemon.com $25,000 etc.
