I decided to race my API Dynadot drop catcher against an $11 backorder on Dropcatch.com and the results surprised me. I was expecting the API Drop catcher to beat out the cheap $11 discount dropcatch.com backorder, but I was wrong. Even with low resources, dropcatch still comes out on top.

I think from now on I'm going to use discount club!

Thank for sharing your trial, however the result cannot be different.
You are comparing your single account (that can make around 1 query for 10 seconds?) with multiple registrant accounts (and each registrant account can make xxx queries for each second).
You are 10000 times slower than the registrant.
The registrant has to backorder multiple domains but in any case the gap is too big to compete.

Your script can work if you suppose that no one else is interested in that domain.

Do you win domains on dropcatch? I have never won a single domain on snapnames

It's better to enter the domain both on DC and Snapnames. You have more than 90% of success rate.
Then if it goes for auction is another story and another budget ...

Yes but I go for low hanging fruit.
