For 2 Word.Com domains, which name should go first? Assuming both name combinations are available at registry price, should you register both if the purpose is to flip only? If someone has one of the 2 name combinations, should you still register the other combination to flip. IE, lets saty NYLawyer.com and LawyerNY.com were both available, should you register both, always? Lets say NYLawyer.com was taken is LawyerNY.com still owrth registering? Thank you for your input,

If it's a real business register both .com and, at least, both local (national) domains.

Register both if demand is clear, but for flipping, focus on the stronger name; the alternate usually has less value.

Don't necessarily agree but we'll see.

When it comes to GEO domains, GEO first is superior from my experience.

In some cases both might be worth registering, but normally I would just take GEO first.

BostonRoofing.com is way more likely to sell than RoofingBoston.com.

I can see why you have trouble communicating and poor reading comprehension. Nothing more to say. My IQ is high enough to have an MBA from Columbia University. I also have a BA in English from Washington University in St. Louis so I know how to communicate in English with people. I provided a basic example usimg 2 words that you made into something that it was not. Bye!

Hi

typically, when such questions are asked, majority of times it's because the person really doesn't know which way to go.
however, after 10 years... even if just lurking, one could absorb by osmosis, which way is the preferred choice.
after all, there are plenty of threads asking similar questions and even posting service + geo names in appraisal section. ie: techsadvisorboston

and still, one with such time/tenure, could make the choice to get both on their own, if hand registering, because the cost would be minimal.
kinda like a "duh" moment.

so, maybe it was just put forth for conversation's sake.

ya feel me

imo....

No it was a real question. I don't spend my time on this forum.

Note that the 'best' order may be different for other languages, countries and ccTLDs.

First name first, last name second. Unless you're in Hungary or Korea, then last name first, first name second. Except it's probably not called first name and last name over there.

I say get the one you want for your business, and if you're an investor and you think it's profitable grab the other one. NY is like 80% lawyers.

Bingo.

In Spanish, for example, the typical order of adjective/noun is reversed: Inteligencia Artificial (IA).

You need a random word generator like this.
scrnli_ttuh8rul7qcxMY.png

Where you can generate 2 word random comination domain names. or you can select custom combination of your prefix and suffix or custom parts of speech together.

and you need a custom random letter domain name generator.
scrnli_aPLFcSR6cQI6UB.png

Where you can generate random letter / number domains with custom CVCV or LNLN pattern.

All the results comes with domain names with exact match search volume data, cpc, and more.
