.fm push (GoDaddy) problems name change

Hi I sold a domain some days ago here on namepros and all went ok after he received the domain on his account.

I made a push to his godaddy account and now when he tries to change the :FIRST NAME, LAST NAME and Company Name he gets an error and says to he that it can not be changed.

He contacted godaddy and said the same.

Please I need help on this to close well this sale.

So you pushed it to the new users account.... So is in in the new person's account? When you called Godaddy, they were like "no you cant change it" and no further info? They didn't give a reason??? Is the domain in your normal domain portfolio or is it in the transfer que, etc.

Since you are both in contact and there is no funny business going on I think you should be able to work this out. Godaddy should have given you a reason the informtion cannot be changed. If not, I would ask them. It may be only a temporary thing, like their not allow us to transfer a domain for 60 days after the registrant information changes.

If it turns out to be some strange function of the .fm registry I think the seller should provide a written proof of sale that describes the siuation where their name will still be on the domain and why. You'll want to check with a lawyer, but I think that may be enough so that the buyer will not have to worry about the seller or his heirs trying to take it back in the future. Please post what you learn and the outcome.

When i a try to change contact info, i am getting followinf error message in my Godaddy.com account
