Flow.pro

4 letter english word with relevance to the market / business. every other flow.* name is taken, I think .pro has a much better ring to it than any but .com / .net. What do you think it's worth?

I think it sounds nice too. I immediately thought of Spiroflow Ltd., in the UK who might be interested.

Good luck!

I did a search for companies with names related to Flow or Flow Pro and found 5 or 6 so far. What do you think is the best way of going about that? Would you email the companies and ask if they are interested, or just put the domain up on sedo and then send each related company an email letting them know it is up for auction?

One of the bigger suitable ones was FLOW Snowboarding 2009, but there were a couple that looked like industrial companies, hard to tell their budget though.

It's brandable, if you search on Google FlowPro.com, Flow-Pro.com, FloPro.com, FlowPro.nl and FlowProInc.com all come up on the first page for a Flow Pro search. I don't think you will sell it to another domainer, you need to direct market or hope that somebody with an interest in Flow and Pro contacts you.

I regged several similar domains when the .pro restrictions were eased at the end of 2008, for example Jumbo.pro and Pronto.pro, the logic was Jumbo and Pronto are popular branding words, Pro is a branding suffix, and O followed by O sounds catchy. You could use the domains for anything big or fast so they have alot of possible uses. Again, I wouldn't be able to sell to somebody on NP, but if somebody looked up either word on Sedo, the Pro branding and rhyming angle would stand out.

I can see some nice ideas with this name... anyone into branding names for businesses could make use for this.

Just have to think outside of the box.

My suggestion? If you want to sell this to an end user... market the name with the included brand. But, do so for many different markets.

IE: One guy mentioned plumbers... market it as a Plumbing brand.

And, if you think outside of the box... it can be a great name for lots of stuff. Market it as a Marketing brand. For instance, a copywritier has a flow (a style), and they are pros at what they do.

It is rememberable. It is exchangeable. It is a nice hack.

Value? No clue. It will depend on who you market the name to -- like many others said... doubtful you will sell it to another domainer for a flip. More than likely it will be a low $xx to mid $xx if sold to another domainer.

To an end user? Who knows...
