Flippa possible security breach or exploit!

I just received notification that one of my LLLL .com had a $20 offer which was immediately followed by another email saying the domain sold for $20. I did not even review or accept this offer, nor did I have a BIN set on the domain! Seems like there is an exploit or some bug enabling a bidder to automatically bypass and accept offers without the owners consent.

I submitted a ticket to Flippa for them to review. Also just checked the sold listings and see a bunch of other LLLL .and LLL .COM sold for $20 as well, so it did not just happen to me.

Just contacted Flippa too about this. Thanks for your heads up! Indeed its obvious in the just sold page on Flippa that this is a flaw. Even qp.com "sold" for $20.

I'm hearing of some oddities at Flippa of late, sounds like someones found a hack or a bug has surfaced.

Those were part of the 50 or so listings affected. We're rolling all back momentarily.

Sale is not really a sale until the domain gets transferred over. Good job by Flippa by fixing the bug ASAP.

yep not much here to talk about.. they can buy my 4l.com for $20 all they want due to some breach.. as long as flippa doesn't force me to transfer them and recognizes the breach, it's all good by me. good quick fix. hope the breach is fixed for future so the inconviences never happen againc
