Flippa - Most of the doms are fake

Scrolling on flippa, and just realized, 99% of anything that's worth looking and up fo sale, is not even actually for sale, nor the guy who's selling it owns it.

Attempting.com : selling for 1k, when its listed on afternic for 17k

How isnt Flippa verifying domain owner ship - pre sale ?

MANY of the domains on Flippa are old and/or have changed hands in the past years. About 2 years ago i contacted 100+ people in the niche i wanted to buy, and he handful (maybe 5-6 people) that did actually respond said they dropped/sold the name years ago and never deleted the posting.

Damn shame. But as far as I'm seeing they're just phony accounts trying to make a quick buck and not fulfilling the dom after
