I put a domain up on flippa and only have a $1 bid and it's been 24 hours. Problem is, I already have 38 views and only 1 watching the auction out of all those views, and it was the guy who bid $1. I never used flippa before, but is this a bad sign??

It all depends on your marketing skills, time, domain quality, promotion, ... many factors come in play and the same domain can only get $1 bid, but another time the same domain could go for a few hundreds ... - what you can do is to try and contact potential users that could have any gain obtaining your domain name and let them know it's in auction, post on forums with link to flippa auction, redirecting your domain to your flippa auction, ...

Thanks for the info! I just got a bid for $50. Things are starting to look up with 13 days to go! I just want enough to cover my costs of the domain and the featured flippa listing.

I am slightly concerned because I checked paypal as a form of payment along with escrow.com. This was before I read that Flippa is full of scammers, and they can cheat you with paypal. Now Flippa wont let me remove the paypal payment option! What can I do to help avoid being scammed??
