Flash Based Navigation Buttons

Hi everyone, i was wondering if anyone has the time to teach me how to make fading nav buttons? not roll overs, like when u place ur mouse on a nav button it fades from lets say white to blue in the time of 2 seconds, Can someone teach me please?

They would be animated flash buttons and here are some great sites for flash tutorials, check through them for an animated button tutorial:
