Prior to the launch I had purchased Carrie.TV and when I did I took the chance that name dot tv may become a valuable asset. Since the launch, it is confirmed in my mind how vital popular names will be in demand media's version of a myspace type community. Most registered names I own, while they are excellent, do not fit the demand media community. What good is a two letter or three letter with the new tools? ZERO! Only Names or possible the strongest of keywords will work with these tools. Thus, based on the launch, I see immediate value in Mick.tv and Jack.tv that were regged for reg fee. What a deal and congrats to whomever regged them, splendid!
The beauty about first names is that it does not have to be your real name, it just has to be a well known or a popular one to cause type ins or a following. In a community setting it makes you the center of attraction. Dave, Bob, John, Joe, etc
