A browser hijacker. Changes your internet settings. I hate those things- some are really insipid- Had one in IE that didn't show up in Add/Delete progs and after manual search and deleting from Program files, the Registry and Start-up, it showed up again upon reboot- as if a hidden/disguised instal pkg was triggered to silently reinstall on boot. My first pass w/ Ad-Aware Pro. (Lavasoft), didn't find it either. Luckily, Ad-Aware caught it on 2nd pass, after I updated w/ new defenitions @ Lavasoft site.
They usually jump on board, piggybacked w/ "free" software, as part of the terms you are accepting. :bah:
A thing of the not so distant past now that I run MacOS online.

Firefox in the office..because I like better than IE.

Firefox at home...because I use a Linux machine.

There is only one site (one of my banks online banking system) I can't open properly on Firefox, however the Mozsource support team is working on this and hopefully should hear from them soon.

Currently using firefox for most uses, mainly due to tabbed browser feature. IE is better for some sites and sites with plugins.

I've also been experimenting with Maxthon lately as well. It's an IE based browser with tabbed browsing.
