Is Mozilla the best browser???

Hi guys,
Can anyone tell me what is the main deference between IE and Mozilla Firefox ? I have been using IE (version 6.0) for one year but from now on I have decided to use Firefox. I just want to know as to what Mozilla can do which Internet Explorer can not.

I have been using "Mozilla" , for years now, Both Mozilla and Firefox are stand alone browsers, Both are excellent, I prefer Mozilla myself.

For me, Firefox needed a whole lot of getting use to, and sites were more compatible with IE before I switched (this was when IE7 wasn't made yet).

The one thing I LOVE about Firefox is this: if you just filled in a form on a site and the page fails to load, there's the 'try again' button - which IE doesn't seem to offer (as far as I know).

I think with browsers you can only say one is the "best" if you pin it down to a certain area of functionality...IE, despite what some people say is certainly not a backward or "crap" browser, it's actually very good in its own right. As is Opera in many ways and Safari (which is now available on PC in case anyone didn't know).

Having said that I have been using Firefox for about 3 years now...it's my primary browser along with IE which I use occasionally.

Just try Firefox and you won't go back. Then try Opera and never go back to FF

I've never used a computer where Firefox was slower than IE. Even something simple as opening a new tab (which only IE7 supports) is completely instant in Firefox, while I have to wait a few seconds for IE7's "You've opened a new tab" window to open up. Browsing in general is faster and has a "lighter" feeling than IE's bulk. Plus, as everyone else mentioned, the extensions are great. I've only got the web developer toolbar and ForecastFox (custom weather forecast where you want to place it in your browser -- unobtrusive and nice), and Firefox doesn't skip a beat. :tu:
