IE has too many security holes. FireFox is a superior browser.

Firefox is wonderful in my opinion. Internet Explorer is not at all a good choice for safe browsing around the net. Opera I have found it is really great for development, such as web design etc.

But for daily browsing, and even for safety I would recommend Firefox as the leading browser.

I definitely recommend you use FireFox :)

Download the latest version (1.0.2) at http://www.mozilla.org

Anything of a browser that MS creates is trash IMO.There coding is so well known an exploit is waiting to happen,I run Mozilla and firefox,Both without java,To many java exploits going around,I have run opera,But was'nt happy with it,Loaded atleast 1/4 of web pages wrong.Kemlon is a decent browser,It's built off the mozilla opem source platform.

If your running mozilla,Just disable "sun java" and that will stop mozilla from running java.If MS IE ,Go to start,Internet options,Advanced,And un check all the VM java and restart your PC.

Too many of these threads.

btw, stop using FF, the more people that use it the greater the risk of attacks. Only I may use it. :p

I'm sticking with firefox unless IE makes some amazing browser that's faster, better and safer then Firefox and this will never happen :imho:

You always get a high % of people using alternative browsers on online forums. Its because most people who use this kind of forum are very tech/net savvy, and we know alternatives.

The average bloke who uses his computer twice a week is unlikely to know anything other than IE.

Following on that, they are the most common people to get Spyware/Viruses in no time. And they are usally the ones that call up some kind of tech support and bug them up the wall.

Now that I switched to FireFox I feel safer literally. I feel that the browser itself is like one of those fenses that wont let anything thats not supposed to in. With I.E. I feel like I'm vunerable to everything.
