Im certain there is a trademark thread somewhere . . . Say there is a Honda dealership called Honda Carland, they will have hondacarland.com most likely. If I try to sell it to Joe Blow I may run into some trademark issues. But what if a dealership wanted it as a tertiary site that forwarded to their own site? Is that an option trying to sell the honda domain to a Honda dealership?

No. But it is an option to get hit with an UDRP! Waste of money to reg TM names.
