So, I'm currently in the process of the developing the following site which should act as a complete business development tool. For a description of what the engine will have and what it is we actually, make sure to check out the About Us section. In a way, apart from regular offline business owners, this may help online domainers and website developers by letting them easily look at only data in a convenient way. And with the addition of many new features, including wolfram|alpha integration, things should be pretty good, I hope.

Also, with the easy idea generator and keyword variations this may prove useful for those web developers who don't know what the next thing is they should get into.

Anyway, let me know what you guys think. I tried to keep the design as simple as possible to allow the ads to blend in quite nicely and speed things up a little.

You may place the logo on the top left side., too many boxes which will not look good in IE. They will become square cornered.

The design of your site is nice and simple. But there is much empty space at the top of the page. I think that it would be much nicer of you write there the name of your site or place there the logo.

Yeah, will focus on that. My main priority at the moment is getting everything up and running smoothly. If it's possible, do guys mind throwing me a few comments in regards to the actual functionality of the site and what you think of the concept.

Ok i am using firefox and whenever i click on "Choose on Location" the cursor moves back to "search a business" box.
Please check it ?

I appreciate the feedback, I'm actually thinking about putting up some type of large quote above the header.

Something like.

I searched for "freelance writer" in the location "north shields"; firstly the 'suggestion of place names' had nothing in the UK related to my search.
Once it actually did the search, in the bottom box named "Local Competition" it brought up a cinema, museum, glass centre, and developers of proteomics software company. Not sure what relevance that had to my search??

I will tend to most of the errors now.

The autosuggest is mainly targeted towards US users as it allows them to display accurate demographic data. Unfortunately at this point in time I was unable to locate any good UK data so yeah. Local competition may have been a little off simply because it displays mostly offline businesses whereas "freelance writer" is online.

I might change the autosuggest if it's a big nuisance.

Local news, world news and blog news will soon be displayed for your chosen or generated business. I guess, helping you get a grip on what is happening locally and worldwide in regards to your niche. Domain suggestions will come shortly alongside traffic reports etc.

Thanks for all the advice guys. At the moment, I'm getting my programmer to actually finish all the functions and features of the site and then move onto the user interface/design.

It looks good. Clean-cut, and simple. One of the biggest and most annoying things that stood out to me, right away, was the grammar on the tag line, "Best of all it's completely free."

As far as the functionality goes, I'd say that the news function of the search needs to be filtered to pertain with the search subject. I was getting news about the city's football team when I searched for pizza.

Other than that at some fine tuning, I think you've got a great start.

What I liked - Clean and simple design. Nice colours.

What i did not like -
- The fonts - so many different sizes and shapes
- The center aligned boxes make it cluttered.

These two points make it very difficult to concentrate on the contents. Maybe the boxes can be made the same size and aligned properly. Can use 2 or 3 font sizes only.

But all together, good work.

EDIT - The comments are about the front page. Other pages look good.
