Hello,
I need an appraisal for the domain findababysitter(.)net.
The owner of the dot com domain offered me last year "south of 400 euro", that was a great offer of course, but he said he need few weeks to run it by the purchasing officer for approval.
After 1 month i contacted him and he said that his company cant afford to buy a domain at the moment.
So 3 weeks ago i sent him an email again and offerd him 175 euro, he said no more than 30 because "The business has stopped all spending on these kinds of things so I can't budge on my offer I'm sorry.", at the end i come to offer 35 lol.. and now he said that 25 euro and the deal is closed.
Do you think this is worth it? because i want to sell that domain..

I personally wouldn't pay reg fee for this, babysitters tend to be very local and known to people in the neighbourhood...how exactly are you going to monetise the site especially as the .com is developed?

I suspect the person you are talking to has absolutely no intention of buying at any price above reg fee and is simply wasting your time. Either that or he expects that you will do nothing with the domain and hand it over to him for nothing. By keeping negotiations open he is in effect keeping you from talking to other people, all the while getting closer to the point where you are simply going to let it drop for him or get desperate.

Without development = $50 maybe? $200 to right end user?

Surely he is not the only person in the world doing this kind of site so simply offer it to someone else and stop wasting your time on him

Put up a real website on the name and see the .com change their tune! Only "fault" on this name is its a net. But its true they dont need your name and want it now at dump value sensing your need to sell plus their valuation. The dot com is your best bet to sell it to as everyone else will either not want it or low ball cuz its a net. You can bluff them back and say if I cant get 100 eros ill have to do something else with the name with a partner.

This name is taken in .com .net .org .info .biz .us, dont dump it unless you need to real bad, goodluck
