Which is your strategy to keep your domain business profitable? How you achieve your goals? Let's refer some of the most important aspects:
1. The company must be profitable, aka the income must be more than expenses.
2. The company must be profitable enough.
3. Renewal fees management.
4. Domains reinvestment expenses management.
5. Quantity/quality balance.
6. Portfolio growth

I plan to establish my own company one day and i need your help. It would be very interesting for me to learn how you overcome these hurdles.

It is so truth. I consider to manage every sale as below:
-60% of it in my pocket.
-40% of it should be saved for my expenses (renewals, reinvestments, etc).

I don't know if the percentages are right, but i consider it like that. Please correct me if i am wrong.

Using Excel Spreadsheet would be the most effective and flexible way to manage your business:
- Name
- Expiration date
- Create date
- Acquire date - so you know how long you own and when can it be transferred out (60 days)
- DNS setting - for landing page
- Extension - .com .net ....
- Purchase price
- Purchase from
- Sold price
- Sold to
- Market Place Listing (A-Afternic - S- Sedo, etc...): ASD = Afternic Sedo, Dan
- and some other columns depending on what type of information do you want to see.

The beauty of Spreadsheet is you can short them any way you want to and generate a P/L (Profit and Lost) statement - Monthly, Yearly, YTD, etc...
