The header doesn't do the rest of the site any justice.There's something missing. It might be motion, visual stimuli that represents change or any element that represents your site a bit better. The cup of coffee doesn't quite represent change. Although I understand the message that you're trying to convey, the cup as a stand alone item, wouldn't be associated with your site.

Content, arrangement, motion, images -> outstanding!

All that's missing is a unique logo and associated favicon.

Your site is a very good designed! I can't find any evident problem.

Try to change colors and fill all empty spaces at website! Header image doesn't suit website design well! Color gamma is selected incorrectly - it is the main problem here!
