Feedback on a flash site

Just finished working on a "concept site." It's in the form of a portfolio, but there's no content. I'm basically asking people to check out the look. It was made using 3d Studio Max 5.1 and Macromedia Flash MX.

There are some design issues that may or may not be fixed, depending on what they are.

Post any suggestions or praise you feel I deserve.

Hey, that's pretty cool! I like the wheel and how the pages change. I think you should maybe add the words to the wheel when you mouseover the links at the bottom, so say when you mouse over portofolio I thik you should have it say portfolio in there instead of just the red background.

And possibly add a little more color other than just black and white. But it looks like it could turn into something nice and I can't really say much more until it has some more done to it.

As for the color, I would have rendered them all in color, but it comes out with a rather cartoonish feel, instead of the blueprinty high-tech feel I was going for. When I get the chance I'll put up a page rendered differently so you can see what I mean. I'm going to be making a "real" site using similar methods, but this one was to show that it is possible to build a plasma-esque page without actually using plasma .

haha, thats cool, although I had to open it twice because I closed the popup that I was supposed to look at out cuz I thought it was an advertisement. I do think it needs a little more color than just black and white, cuz after so long looking at a page thats done in black and white, it starts to hurt the eyes, but other than that it's a neat site [=

as I said, the rendering options somewhat limited the amount of color I could include while keeping it decent looking. Since I didn't use plasma, I had to use a 3d Studio max plugin for the exporting, which made it difficult to get the result I wanted. Tomorrow I'm going to try ripping the textures off of those objects (they dont render at all) and just coloring them with max's object properties thing. I'll post another link tomorrow for you guys to take a look at.

i also closed the pop up, i would change the bg to black or sumthing so u know it goes with the site, just untill it loads or something

or instead of having it as a pop up when you first enter the page, make a button to be clicked on so that people don't confuse it for an advertisement and close it out, just a suggestion. [=

I'm currently devising a way to make presentable menus using the same method as the site. It's a little more difficult than I anticipated. Also, I've been trying to find the best way to render the models so they keep their color and look good at the same time. In a little bit I'll attatch a render of one of the models using the only option that allows color.
