This is not a coupon, but a constant price, so there is no limit to the number.
The fc2 domain is not part of Afternic/GoDaddy.
fc2 is a company founded by a Japanese person in the United States in 1999 and is a well-known company in Japan as well.

Maybe all registrars buy domains from Verisign at 0.99$ like Godaddy and add additional fee above.

My guess is they make a loss on registrations and transfers in the hope of profiting on other services.
