Any guess's? I got this domain, amongst several others, from my father. Who passed away. I am not too clued up on domains but I am generally PC savvy.

Ive had many brokers contact me. I am in no hurry to sell really until I understand fully its worth and potential. Finding this forum has been a bonus. I shall have a lot of my questions about domains asnwered by the look of the topics covered.

I also own. egg.net, egg.org, eggy.com, your-bank.com, wallstreet-trader.com, savings-and-loans.com, ious.com. And a few others.

Are they worth keeping? For future?

Any advice generously recieved. Thanks.

Wow you are lucky, are you serious you got that from your fathers Will... That is something new. They are worth a lot and don't let them go for a cheap price, hang on to "egg.net", "egg.org", "eggy.com". They are the gems in your package.

Leapfish isn't to accurate, but it is able to you a rough gestimate...

I wouldn't touch fbi.anything with a 10 foot stick but you should be able to cash enough off the egg lot to not worry about it.

I could see fbi.net selling for 5-6K...
egg.net & egg.org are nice too. These are not just 3-letter names but real words too. You should be able to fetch at least mid-$$$$ easily IMO.
Obviously a broker will pay reseller price, you can get more if you wait for the right end user.

ious.com is a great four letter dot com to own. I could see you easily fetching 20k or more for this one. As for fbi.net, I dunno what the american government would think about that but if it is not a problem with them i could see 20k or more also.

All in all so far as every one has mentioned you can sell the following :

FBI.net for 5-6k
ious.com for 20k (easily)
egg.net and egg.org both for 10k
eggy.com for 10k

That's a good inheritance, roughly 50k :p

Sorry to hear about the circumstances leading to you getting these domains.

:imho:

FBI.net - roughly 10k However, it's going to depend on your usage!!!!
These are just the quick results of a search "FBI" + "Live" @ www.uspto.gov

ious.com -- 10-15k
egg.net -- 8-10k
egg.org -- 10-15k min. (if sold to the correct end user, such as an agricultural association, this one could easily be your most profitable domain)
eggy.com for -- 5-8k

It's difficult to accurately judge domains like "egg", you'd really have to look whether "milk.net", "grain.net", "meat.net",.... has recently changed ownership to get some level of idea of the possibilities.

Best of luck!

egg.net and egg.org sell to egg.com. this is about egg.com:
From a standing start back in 1998, we've grown into the world's largest pure online bank. This success has come about through helping customers to understand and manage their money more effectively. Across our main areas - borrowing, saving and insurance - we offer value for money and great service.

YOUR 2 DOMAIN 100 000$ MIN.

Good LUCK!!!

Sorry to hear about your father passing away.

About the domains, I think you've received a great set.

I would also say ~ $100,000 to the right end-user.

6 digits for a .net? That would be great to see! Although, i don't see that happening, especially not since the bank owns the .com already. :imho:

OK maybe it is even more than I expected, hope you find the right buyers, the only tip that everyone here will agree with, is to never get desperate, you will find the right buyer inevitably. :hehe:

FBI = female body inspector :D

I have a t-shirt that says that!

I sold LLL's of equal quality in the past, e.g. Let.org, Any.org & Ann.net
Unfortunately much like real estate I sold them right before the boom, at prices lower than today's valuation.

Objectively, a single word LLL org can fetch up to $8k (unless it's sex.org :D) and a single word LLL net can fetch maybe up to $12k (unless it's sex.net!). The FBI one is not very easy to market. Would you sell it to the Federal Bureau of Investigations? Obviously no. Try to find companies with these initials and good luck.
