As For me,Simple machine

Nothing in this word can be free of spam, how ever you can allow new registrants to sign up through their verified facebook account. This way you can reduce some spam but will also have low number of users as some might not like to sign up through their FB accounts.

XenForo, Vanilla forums are those which I liked most.
