I would like to know what fonts you like to use while desigining. I hate good looking fonts that are pixely once you make them a decent size. Is there any workaround for this?

Some of the designers in the NP Design CONTESTS might know the answer to that...
we sure do have some wonderful designers that participate...

I have no clue personally... I am not a designer...

Good Luck finding the answer...

For actual text on a page: Georgia, Arial, or Verdana. Trebuchet MS sometimes.

For basic text logos, I like the Meta Bold font (Firefox font).

For pages: Arial, Verdana, Times New Roman or Trebuchet MS.
For graphics: Depends entirely on the site.

For a typeface/sIFR Helvetica, Delicious and Fontin sans.

Website headers (non sIFR) Gerogia, Arial.

Body text: Verdana, Arial.

Notice Verdana and Arial are based around Helvetica?

I think the default font rulez.

Trebuchet MS, Tahoma, Arial and Verdana for general designing. Impact for heading text that requires emphasizing, and Lucida Console Sans when I need to keep menus proportionally displayed.

thanks for sharing the sample so I could see what it looks like...

I wonder if it is available online somewhere free ??

I'm curious to see pic-samples of the other posters selections...
if they have time to add them... :)

thanks again...

Take your pick. ;)

Windows: If you search Google with filetype:ttf at the end of your search (usually the name of the font), it's pretty easy to find a direct download link to the font you want. Paste it into your fonts directory (default is C:\Windows\Fonts) and Windows will install the .ttf (TrueType font) files you pasted.

Mac, Linux, Others: You're on your own. :)

My favorite design font is Whitney. Unfortunately the pack I have is $299, but definitely worth it in my opinion.

Call me simple but I really like: Verdana & Microsoft sans serif.
