This is a message I wrote in August 29th 2026 at around 1am and I wanted to post it specifically when I get my 20yo badge here on namepros, that would be in 2027, but I decided to post today instead .
I posted in meet and greet to show this to newcomers as well , to wish them good luck in the path they have chosen .
I was here since I was 19, now I am 38, happily married with 2 beautiful kids . I joined domaining hoping to make a quick buck in college.
This is my end here , I will not come back to read the replies or anything, just leaving these words here for posterity. If mods decide to delete or edit my post, so be it . Also a huge thanks to @Eric Lyon , I learned a lot from you. I also had the pleasure of speaking on the phone with Rob Monster , ceo of Epik.com at that moment regarding a job , but did not pan out , but I admire his passion.
I did not become rich doing this, I bought some nice shit , but that is all , I guess domaining isn’t for everyone.
I bought and sold some nice domains here , I built apps way before the AI shit came up , although i was accused of building dnterminal.con with AI by kids who probably weren’t in their parents plans when I joined here , which it’s ahead of its time , I mean autonomous AI domain buy / sell platform ? Come on , you must be crazy to not see the opportunity. The bad part is that now with the second kid coming in, budget for me to advertise this is really low .
I will not make the same mistake I did here with socialin.me which again was ahead of its time as a profile page creator , but stupid me added the script on codecanyon and then the internet blew up with such apps …
