It's misspelled (phantasm) but it would work well for a fan website. It needs branding, though. Mid $xx-early $xxx IMO.

Nice, brandable domain. $1xx.

1. It is NOT a misspelling. According to Webster, it is a valid variant spelling of Phantasm, and is listed as such at least since the year 1828 edition:

Merriam-Webster Online Dictionary

fantasm
2 entries found for fantasm.
To select an entry, click on it.

Main Entry: fantasm
variant of PHANTASM

2. In fact, in terms of current usage, Fantasm is used more frequently than Phantasm.

3. The genius who appraised this name at $1xx should know that I have received an offer of $15,000 for this name. Excuse me, but there is no domain name that is not outright garbage that is worth only $100.

4. It never fails to amaze me how these amateur appraisals are universally bogus.

5. The only reason I posted this appraisal request was to win a bet with my business partner. And I want to thank you for helping me win the bet.

wow lucky you, twice a winner.. (!) who could have thought - now do you do anything else apart from join a forum, post 1st post appraisal and then bash members who didn't agree w/your "offer"?

When the appraisals are obviously from those who seek only to denigrate the domain name of others, I will respond accordingly. Their appraisals and your defense of them are a joke. Forums like this are a joke, populated by children and those dedicated to elevating their own donkey domain names by putting down the names of others.

And I did not imply that anyone is a liar, as you have done with your cute little passive-aggressive "offer" quotation marks. Whether some faceless entity believes me or not, is a matter of indifference, but your presumption is very amusing. And cowardly.

Did you even notice that one of the geniuses based his appraisal on the erroneous assumption that Fantasm is a misspelling? Or do you know better than all the English language dictionaries?

And I must say, you too, are obviously a winner. And so articulate, too.

I will leave this site to all you 23 year old "writers" and assorted masterminds.

Have fun in your play pen

I'm a faceless member? with 1,000+ posts and 35 TR? And all this time, I thought I was a respected user of this site.

Yes, FANTASM is used often -- so I suppose you can say it's legit. I personally like it. I'd have offered up to $5k for it. But I just didn't see it as THAT MUCH of a stand-alone name when I appraised it.

If 'fantasm' is more popular, then I'll change my appraisal to at least early $x,xxx. But I don't see a lot you could do with it, unless you experiment.

Just the 2 cents from a 'faceless' user.

Hey, genius: do I see your face? Do I know your true identity? NO? Then guess what? You are, to me, FACELESS.

And you prove my point that your appraisal is bogus, when you claim you would have paid $5k for a name you appraised at $xxx.

I do what to thank you for sharing the wisdom of your vast life experience. A writer? lol

Now try to imagine what you can do with your 2 cents, sonny.

Nice to have helped you. Too bad you'll likely get banned for being an idiot.

LOL

That you care so much about being banned from this worthless site is very sad.
Actually, sonny, I am leaving now, quite voluntarily. I am due back on planet earth with the adults.

Have a nice day, sonny.

One last thing: thanks for the compliment, you little punk. I am old enough to be your father.

Now go and write the great American novel.

Do NOT be offended by the appraisals you receive, as they reflect opinions from individuals who are volunteering their opinions and experience for free. In the end, the value of the domain is what it actually sells for, not what others think its worth.
