IMHO Facebook the past 2 months has taken some great strides in connectivity. I am suddenly finding a TON of people in my friends.

Myspace was never imho that good since it's interface was terrible, unintuitive and the site seemed to attract a more immature crowd.

IMO the demographics Myspace- for teens, facebook-college /univ students .
Orkut is going to be the new myspace.

Facebook is still said to be a CIA Operation. So while this is a great thing for them, I definitely wouldn't put your personal information on there, or even go by your real name.

Twitter looks to be getting more and more popular. I never quite got the whole Facebook thing, I have an account but have not been there in years.

Facebook is still my primary social networking website, although I use Twitter and Orkut. No Myspace for me though (Bought an account once, may use it again). I still do not get Twitter's business model, Facebook has evolved over years, although I get the feeling there's too much going on.

I have started using Twitter, but I have never been one to want to plaster my every minute or a lot of my personal life on the internet. I can see why these services are popular, but the ability to monetize the traffic without losing the community feeling are going to be difficult to navigate. Facebook is still losing money.

I'm disappointed that Facebook has focused so much on competing with Twitter that they changed their interface to compete. Facebook has their market and Twitter has their own smaller market.

Don't get me started on how I feel about Twitter. :p

Facebook really made a historical number of visitors and members than any other social networks out there. This is a huge success to the owner
