Fabulous drop dates

I'm looking at Whois for a domain at fabulous. The expiry date at the top says 2013 but the date at the bottom says 2012. Which is correct?

Not really sure on that one..You could do a whois on it at another site and see what that says..maybe who.is or something?

a lot of registrars "extend" the expiration date by a year when the domain expires. It's probably in the grace period.

I'm usually in tune with these things but have little experience with Fab.

Obviously, the name is expired and in grace period.
I am not sure, but keep an eye at Namejet. It may become available there as prerelease. Or shoot an E-mail to Fab to find out.

I agree with sdsinc. The Registry Date is because domains are automatically renewed at the Registry for 45 days. Up to that time the Registrar has the opportunity of a refund from the Registry. But that has nothing to do with the actual Expiry Date as determined between the Registrar and the Domain Owner. So, as sdsinc suggests, look for it as a Pre-Release domain at NameJet.
