Expired Domain Question

Hi guys,

I’m pretty sure this question has been asked a zillion times so please forgive me....

A domain I’m very interested in, expired on 06-21-2006 and has not been renewed so far. It is now registered by directNIC.com as “Expired Domain Name”

I have a couple of questions…
- when will this domain be released to the public again?
- will it get registered by bots the moment it is released?
- I don’t think any other human is after the domain. How can I purchase it before bots do for the lowest price?
