Hi everyone,

I have received a mid XXXX offer for the domain:

Existential(.)com

dictionary .com
~4,000,000 results in google
Overture 2373
taken in all major extensions

Would love to hear opinions on this one. Worth accepting or not?

Thank you!

UPDATE : After declining the original offer from the seller, we are once again in talks for a sale. It would be appreciated if anyone could add additional thoughts on the domain existential(.)com

If it's not a scam, I think you should accept the offer.

by your avatar i would assume you do not need the sale for your existence :red:

But, if you aren't afraid of a few philosophers rolling over in their graves, cash out at that price. sp

def sell as it sounds like quite a reasonable offer. However you did mention you have the domain in financing just make sure you don't end upside down in the overall.

Your domain is good for philosophers and it is quite old.
But the offer is high.so,
Take the money and never look back. :D

You could get more in a perfect climate but 5k to 8k is very nice.

I like the name.

Could go for up to 15k to 20k, at the right time to the right buyer.

Don't sell for less than 5k.

Good luck

Thanks guys for your input. The offer is on the very low end of mid XXXX, so i am tempted to counter offer as some of you say it is worth a bit more.

Anyone else that could offer an opinion it would be greatly appreciated :)

I was going to say the same thing. Most likely the buyer is a philosophy professor. I like the name myself.

Damn funny Slim

I'd counter if it was their initial offer, it's a nice domain. Do you know anything about where/whom the offer is from? As that would play a big part in negotiations.

It is hard to EXACTLY value a domain as most experienced people here will tell you.

You can negotiate etc, but if you have no alternatives or other offers to fall back on, 5k is a darn good offer.

If you get revenues or traffic, you might be able to negotiate based on that.

What if the buyer backs out and decides to move on or get an alternative name? Will you be able to find another end-user easily? If yes, you can risk demanding more.

Else, you have a great offer to begin with.. Don't get too greedy..

If they had offered you 2k, you would have been happy if they raised to 3k or 4k right? ;)

I think its a nice name, but its not as good as Existentialism.
mid $x.xxx sounds like a good price to me.

I think you should take the mid xxxx offer. It's a good name for an educational site but it is not business oriented.

Are they asking for fpite.com instead as that domain points to this one
