Here's your chance to own a great domain name! This domain has quite a bit of history, and I've owned it since 2004.
Alone, the word "examp" could be a fake, brandable word, or it could be short for "example". The second method is commonly used, since many Google results show people using example domains using "examp.com".
Over the past three years, I've developed a few sites using the domain. The largest, branded as examp.net but received traffic at the .com, was sold in early 2006 for mid $xxx. I've also used the name Examp.com to submit a line of Invision Board Skins at Invisionize. I've linked Examp.com in most of my popular free skins, which can be found on several forums.
Also, Examp.com is Archive.org listed since August 2004. Unfortunately, I don't have the time to develop a site for it, so it's sitting around idle today (not redirected). I love the domain, and I'd like to see someone utilize the traffic it still gets.
I performed a Google search for "examp.com" (WITH quotes), which returns 290 results. Google's PageRank returns a score of 2 for both examp.com and www.examp.com.
Link Popularity -- Since Examp.com is/was a popular domain, it still fetches link popularity points. According to Checkpagerank.net, it receives 48 Yahoo!, 43 AllTheWeb, and 48 AltaVista links.
It also fared well in the NamePros Appraisal.
The domain is currently registered at NameCheap through August, 2008. I am accepting all serious offers. Please let me know if you have any more questions about the domain. I don't have current traffic stats.
