Socom is one of the most popular online games, if not the most popular, for Sony PlayStation 2. SOCOM is also a term using in the military, Special Operations COMmand. Anybody that is familiar with the game or with the military would want this domain. SOCOM nowadays is compared to Halo. It is basically the HALO of PlayStation 2. And now since a sequel to SOCOM 2, is coming out in August (SOCOM 3), the game will be even more popular.
