I think it's a good sign that big companies are buying .rocks & spending the $ on them.
Example,a big company bought BOOKS dot rocks. To me, BOOKS ROCK sounds better, but this big company bought the .rocks

Somebody spent $100k on AUTISM .rocks which to me sounds weird, as if they are saying Autism is cool, but to spend $100k on the .rocks, says something to me. To that end, I just regged DIABETES dot rocks.
Why? Every domain extension has some sort of domain for DIABETES. Sales records show hundreds of thousands of dollars spent on domains that include DIABETES in them.
Diabetes.me sold for $4000
Diabetes.pro sold for $4000
Diabetes.Asia sold for $2000
Mydiabetes.com sold for $19000

There are over 1 million searches per month for Diabetes.
Diabetes in the USA is on the rise, and is effecting millions of people.

Based on all the above, do you think my reg of DIABETES dot rocks is a good risk or investment?

Upto a $100 in renewal is still salvageable considering a 5 year term $500 investment, obviously for truly Premium names!

For instance I have about 100s of aged .com (10 yrs average) and 100s of nTLDs. Only 2 of my nTLDs are over $100, InvestIn.Gold and Innovation.Team, $110 to be precise. I have even better names that are not Premium Reg!

Bottom Line : It may take years of Renewals to truly realise their potential! Diversify!

Though I would suggest dont flood yourself with inventory, and keep a rolling inventory. Buy one, then sell it, before moving on to next premium reg, as they are readily available for Reg or at the Dropzone!
