I love watches. I have about 100 in my personal collection, and about another 100 for sale at any given time .
I thought it would be fun to see what everyone was wearing for a watch today. This was on my wrist today...

I no longer wear watches. I just look at my shadow during the day and my cell phone or PC at night, when I need to know the time.

I didnt either. In fact the Rolexes I own had not seen the light of day in years. They were just locked away in my safe. Got back into them about a year ago and its gone downhill since then..haha

Still have not worn the Rolexes

Mine is in my Avatar...nautica watch but now have a Brown band. Love them but honestly dont wear it much as my cellphone gives me the time now :/

I like watches, just haven't bought any expensive ones yet, just have a couple of basic ones.

Got quite a few watches during my years of travel, knockoffs and real. In some cases, the fakes kept better time than the real, but mostly (except for manually wound) they all worked fine.

I prefer simple field watches that fit the environment better up here....water proof, shock resistant, scratch resistant crystal, etc. Timex works fine, and are cheap enough, I don't mind when I break or lose one. Am now looking for one with the metal case covered with a tough, thin rubber/plastic, like an iphone cover.

It's the bands I have trouble with.

I used to wear a "lex'

but since my cellphone keeps time, I stopped wearing one.

Rarely wear a watch these days, but the last two have been Casio G-Shocks which can take a massive beating; band replacement is ridiculous though. Probably my most favorite watches were Timex Data-Link (Microsoft) and Casio DataBank. The DataBank was a pain to program, but wouldn't loose your info when the battery went dead.

I can tell time by the declination of the sun



but yeah, probably easier to just tilt the wrist, but then I don't have to worry about my watch being stolen.

and my phone is so old (Verizon LG), nobody wants that either.

but it has taken a licking a kicking and it keeps on ticking
