If $30 is a lot of money to you then you have to consider that domaining is not for you. Remember you don't really own the domains you are kind of leasing them and have to pay the fee every year. Traditionally domainers have to hold hundreds of domains to realize a few sales every year.

Not really a viable business model if you are counting your dollars and pennies.
