Hello guys,

I totally appreciate your time stopping by! Please let me know what do you think about those names:

1) TravelAndTale.com
I think of this one as a package-based travel blog, where they can share a tale on every travel. I also own all matching social media handles and would offer them with the domain, for free.

2) Xtination.com
As the name implies, Xtination is like going to Destination X. It is highly attractive and memorable and can be used in so many ventures.

3) Travene.com
This one has no apparent meaning, yet it instigates the idea that someone has Traveling running in her veins, just a thought!

4) TheLivingEdit.org
A customized tips from life coaches, or an interior designer's portfolio, or even for an NGO.

5) Trotium.com

Please let me know what do you think, any pointers and advice are highly appreciated.

Thank you!
G

I like Travene the most, it can be very nice brandable in .com, therefore 2-4k for ideal end user.
Xtination in .com is playful names, has some chances for 1-2k as well imo, while I do not feel some higher value in other two names.

Travene is also my favorite, though I must say it isn’t immediately clear to me how to pronounce it - the natural English inclination is to say it like “traveen”, which doesn’t make me think of travel. Other languages would say it trah-veh-neh which is clearer, but still doesn’t make me think of travel. I think it’s worth 2-5K to an end user.

Xtination is cool but again doesn’t scream “destination” to me - actually, the first thought I had was “procrastination.” But if someone comes along thinking like you do and they love it, again probably the same range as Travene, though maybe lower likelihood to sell.

I don’t see much value to a reseller in any of them though, so your best bet is to wait and you might wait quite a while. The other two I would drop: Travel and Tale is a long tail and the “and” kind of kills the brandability, TravelTale would be a 5K name. The .org makes me think of video editing but it doesn’t blow my mind and .org has a much lower sell through rate even for single keywords and short names.

Hello NameTurtle. Hats off for your kind generous time spent writing your opinion. To be honest, this is the first time that I think of Travene the way you described. I always saw it in that angle and now I can see it from other angles, thanks to you.
Procrastination would absolutely work too, now that you mentioned it. It's amazing how capitalization makes a huge different! For example, if I type it like this: XTInation.com, then it can be an XTI Nation website for an XTI brand.
My first thought about TravelAndTale was that in short it can be written like T&T, or even TnT, which both radiate familiarity with big names, but I see your business opinion regarding this.

Thank you again for your time, I think I've gained a valuable insights from what has been said so far.

Travene is somewhat brandable, like a portemanteau made up from the words travel and convene.
But this name has history, it's been registered and deleted multiple times: http://www.hosterstats.com/historicaldns.php?domain=Travene.com
So I don't think the previous holders have been successful.
You never know, sometimes it's just about being at the right place at the right time. But achieving a sale is uncertain.

The rest has no resale value.

Hey Kate.
Thanks a lot for the HosterStats site, I added this to my checklist of Good-to-Knows. Ironically, I've been hearing this phrase "The right place at the Right time" more often recently than ever! So I hope your words were heard.

What do you think about "Traverest.com"?
