About the Eurovision-mp3.com Project:
Eurovision-mp3.com started as a single page from where users were able to directly download the mp3's for the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest. Songs were provided for pre-listening only and each participating country was feautured.
The project started by an enthusiast for the 2004 Istanbul contest (on a different subdomain first) and continued later with the 2005 Kiev Eurovision page. The domain was registered in 2006 and hosted the Eurovision 2006 Athens event and the Eurovision 2007 Helsinki event that followed. The latest 2008 Belgrade project was prepared but was never made public because the eurovision-mp3.com's owner and coordinator did not have enough time for it's implementation.
NOTE: The project was inactive for the past year.
The Use:
It's pretty obvious the domain can be used in future for the same purpose of providing information about Eurovision Song Contest and presenting the songs for all the participating countries. Music files can be offered as links or as direct downloads. The site also had a working forum and a voting system script here. Due to the it's name, top search results for: "eurovision", "mp3" and "download" can be easily achieved using the right CEO. The highest peak of visits the project receives just days before the Eurovision Contest and a few weeks after (for about a month) when the most of the traffic occurs (about 90%), so if you intend to use it, do it before May 2009.
NOTE: This is a seasonal domain and estibot/wordracker data will vary a lot during the busiest month each year when the contest is held
