The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.

lol, i sent them an email 4 days ago but received no reply and all names still pending since golive. Thats what everyone's annoyed about.

According to the info on their website, most of the registration process should be automated. I submitted my .asia domains over 45 hours ago and their status is still "Ready for submission"!

I sent them a email with my honest opinion about their service and topping it off with one question: why it takes them so long when other registrars handle the same process in less than 15 minutes.
Same problem for me. I paid...no domain...no refund...no reply from support.

Edit: Now my domain no longer shows up in the "pending" area...and it's not in my owned domains area. Not good.

The funny thing is, I sent them an email two days ago with a question before I actually went ahead and registered to use their registrar services. They responded to my email within hours.

This leads me to believe that they're reading our emails, but they don't care to give us any answer once we're a customer.

I am going to get in touch with ICANN about this because I've wasted enough time on the eurodns ignorance.

In brief, I think this is the point :

Why they take Our money Before Confirm Registration??? This is The Problem.. Are you Agree ?? The first thing they Do Very Fast Is Taking Your Money From Your credit card, and then they take all the time To REgister - or not - Your names.
They Can Pending Our Names For Years if they Want, But Not taking Our Money.Aren't they?

No they can't! Once they withdraw money from our account they are obligated to give us the product we pay for, which in this case obviously is a domain.

I would instead use well known companies like Dotster, Godaddy or Moniker for Asia, too much risk using these unknown businesses.

All our domains are with godaddy and Moniker. We used EuroDNS because we don't have any contacts in Asia for our .asia domain.

Not quite. They aren't oligated to give you a domain, even if that's what you thought you were buying. They can simply give you credit to spend as you'd like should they not get the domain requested...for any reason.

The problem seems to be that once they have your money, they won't give it back under any circumstances...including not being able to register a domain a domain they showed as available. Customers are forced to accept credit.

(Still no reply from their support about anything.)

I don't care about the credit, refund or money. The total lack of information and the slow processing time is what's making me mad.

I'm tempted to registered a .asia domain ie a long domain with random letters and numbers that I KNOW won't be registered elsewhere just to see how much time they need to register the domain. I really want to know why their registration process is so slow.

We were going to order all European ccTLD's with EuroDNS, but this kind of customer service has really made me change my mind and we're looking for other options.

Ok I too was having a bad experience. Then I got in touch with a guy who works there. He is very polite and is willing to help me with my problem. He even offered a deal on .asia domains for my hassle. The company is really just backed up right now, and they will contact everyone in time.

I believe that EuroDNS.com which is huge domain name registrar will never spray to cull someones $100-150. I hope that we all around understand that. I believe that company which used to be one of the best in this area for ages would never start stealing funds from the customers. I believe that it was a clip and nothing more and all will be solved very quickly.
demand on .asia vocabulary domain names is crazy nowadays and I hope you understand that not only EuroDNS customers and othe domain name registrar's customers are being trying to register as much domain names as possible at the same time. Once you chose domain name and add to the cart - it might be being registered through other registrar in this time.
Look. Noone have had troubles with other extension last few day only with ASIA.
If you are all professionals (or at list call yourself professionals) you'd better not call other scammers, because that is at least unprofessional.

If you didn't get your domains during the landrush, there is no need to be surprised.

Hi Guys,

I applied for some .asia domains and 12 had the status โ€œReady for Submissionโ€ for about 2 days.

I have called EuroDNS to know whatโ€™s happening with the domains. They told me that in most cases when a domain is in that status there is a problem with the availability of the it.

In 90 % is the domain already taken.

I have found the refund in my account one day later.

And incidentally the .asia Registry and Pool.com starts the auctions not EuroDNS.

You should better inform you, maybe here

http://dotasia.pool.com/faq.aspx

or here

I've would not use the word scammers either, but I'm very disappointed with their customer service. If the demand for .asia domains is THAT high, they should put up a notification on their website about long processing time.

I registered our domain .ASIA domain with EuroDNS 4 days ago and it's still "ready for submission". I've checked 3 other registrars, including registry.asia and it's still available everywhere else.

I don't know what EuroDNS is doing :!:
