Other than that, in this match Spain didnt deserve to win in my opinion, though David Villa's goal was great and I spoiled my throat yelling...

So it seems Spain and Holland can only meet in the semifinal, which is a shame. I predict one of those two will meet Germany in the final. The germans have not played very well but since when they need to play well to reach the finals?

I disagree, look at the stats.

In the second half, spain had twice as much possesion of the ball, as well as over twice as many completed passes and shots.

I think the score should have been 3-1. That was a clear penalty shot before halftime.

Tomorrow has a game with little interest ( Portugal-Switzerland) but has another that is a do or die between Turkey and Czech Republic.

On paper the Czechs look better, but at this stage we never know. This could ever be the first game to have to go to a penalty shoot out.

I believe the Czechs will win as well as the Portuguese. The Swiss will try hard to regain some of their lost pride!

I did not see todays games so I can't comment, but it seems Spain remain a very very strong candidate to get to the final.

Yes the match between portugal won't carry much suspense but I expect the one between Turkey and the Czechs to be quite good.

Of course they will play against Spain. But whatever the result will be they can't qualify further. They have 0 points, Russia and Sweden both 3 and they will play against each other, so some or both will get at least one point, thus Greece cannot get the 2nd place in the group.

Yes Greece can already pack their bags, just like Switzerland. However they still must play the third game, ever if only to try and regain their lost pride.

Portugal will more than likely play with the majority of the reserve team. Tradicionally they have done well in this type of situation! The last time they beat Germany 3-0 with their reserve team.

Well, that happened in 2000. Portugal is coached by Scolari who is more pragmatic. But even the reserves would want to show they should play in the first 11. So, don't know what to say.
