Do you think domains such as:

internet.eu
rent.eu

....could be worth anything if bought and held onto for some time after they are launched in 2006?

They are both words that have the same meaning in 80% of EU countries D-:

If you could get country.eu (like, france.eu, etc) they'd be great too, but, probably reserved.
SoftwarePatents.eu would've been valueble a month ago.
PeerToPeer.eu or P2P.eu is a hot topic there right now.

I have preordered quite a few using netnames.

Are they any good for pre-ordering or getting a backdated domains? It still costs if they dont aquire the domain so im gonna get quite a few come launch day rather then risk so many now.

There will be loadsa good ones of launch day anyway so im gonna be patient. I sense there is xxxxs to be made easily!

I believe Pool has a no reg no fee type of deal, however they did want to take around $50 to pre authorise my card when i tried to sign up so i thought I would shop around for a bit first.
