Well...that depressing time is upon us again. The 7th of June (tommorrow) is when landrush 2 starts and it is inevitable all the good names will go to those fake registrars again, leaving the eu population robbed and EurId seem oblivious to this happening.

Also, it is really annoying me that "Parknet BV" have applied for countless names and apparently have rights to over 500 of them :(

Why bother...it will just cause some headaches, heartaches and ulcers.

Months ago, I was all excited that there was going to be a second chance at it all... but after a long sunny weekend and remebering all the headache and let-down after the first time around, I simply couldn't be arsed to do it all over again. Not worth the stress!

Esepcially when you're up against dodgy registrars (as you mentioned)... not going to bother wasting my time this time ...

I dont understand why they have put landrush 2 for tomorrow, when not all claims have been validated yet

Well I started off with a pre-reg list at my registrar of 468 names. That list has now dwindled to only 26 names for the "rush" tomorrow. I dont even have the slightest chance obviously. Also what irks me especially (just as Kev says) is the Parknet BV issue. It so happens that out of the 468 names I had preregged 187 of them have now been allocated to Parknet BV. Parknet BV ,VOF Internet Providers ,Blixem Internet Services and a few other names are all owned by one Ronnie Broekman. I even sent an email to Eurid again and to Price Waterhouse Coopers pointing out what Parknet BV is up to and provided proof and some links to articles that show that they have been up to the same tricks in the past with the .NL extension. Not a word or whisper of a reply. I even sent a mail to Parknet BV themselves accusing them of using unethical methods for getting domains and used a few strong words to get my disaproval across., Even they did not bother to reply or deny. I am sure that the possibility excists that Eurid and Price Waterhouse Coopers all have dirty hands and are possibly profiting from this themselves. Or they accept a kickback from Parknet BV
Anyway this could cause .EU to never reach the heights that were envisioned for it. The whole Eurid thing is crooked and run by either total incompetents or crooks.

My sentiments exactly - I still have'nt sorted out all my refunds properly from the last time ! :(

Not much chance of getting any decent ones IMO but good luck to those of you that are trying again.

Yes, but check some names and they arent validated yet... so not all of the domains are available. There are still ones yet to be accepted or denied by eurid!

Yeah, big today tomorrow again. I myself have once again some waiting in line and i am quite curious what percentage will come through for me.
The first landrush gave me a decent percentage so i hope i can get the same percentage if not even better.

And Parknet B.V. really sucks! They scammed themself some very nice .eu domains. &parknet&sucks bulshit trademark applications.

You know your Landrush II results already? (It only started 17 minutes ago :))How? Where? Like you said, the whois is down again, so how do you know Pool didn't get anything?

Cheers.
