Hi Everyone

The .EU TLD is coming to the market and I have orady placed an order for some great domains. Do you think it would be another tld or would it become the most wanted tld in the future ?

Regards
Othman

EU Doms will chase com

I live in Germany and believe me, *.eu will be the biggest competetive.
The *.com Ressources of good names become lower and lower. The sunrise
period start in summer and the registration seems to start in October.

US Companies will search for *.eu because they want to hold their monopole.

There´re 10 ranks of a domainname. if there´re more than 10 pre-regitrations, you´re not able to get the name. If you´re on rank 1 you´ll
get the name.
The worth is really big, because every country of Europe is interested in one name.

some of my no. 1 rankings for example:

remortgage.eu

freesexmovies.eu

badcreditloan.eu

copiers.eu

salesmanagement.eu

ondemandbusiness.eu

........

the pre-registration are free, the later price would appr. be 19 - 29 Euros

These are the top rankings???

I see only 1 single word - and that's in plural.

.eu is a ripoff because the price will be indeed close to 100 euro - almost $130 dollars. That's more expensive than .JP domains.

Look at eudot.info !!!

The price will be 19 to 29 Euros.

The rank is the rank of the number of registrations. If I would cancel my domainname with rank 1 the registrant no. 2 will get the name and so on....

The names you posted above are of very low quality.

If you see any future in the value of .eu, invest in dictionary domains. That's what the big fish will go after once the floodgates open.

An interesting thought on the possible long-term impact of .EU domains:

When the .EU domains are released and become much more widespread, will .EU be the default tld for software and hardware for the EU countries?
For example: in Mozilla or other browsers downloaded in EU countries.

If this were to be the case, this would provide lots of food for thought for European .COM owners or others with a high level of EU traffic.

the biggest advantage is that you can register for example english, spanish, italian, german and france domainnames.

www.costo.eu , www.lecteur.eu and so on

Mad Dude. I don't think this forum is too discuss your personal feelings towards any other nationality. I read all the previous posts. I dont' see where your statements are coming from. People have the right to state how they feel about "domains, extensions, and their value". No where did I see anyone attacking any "person, race, or nationality."

NamePros.com is known for being one of the friendliest domain forums around. Please refrain from making non domain related comments like you made. We don't need that kind of stuff here. If you want to bring up stuff like that, there are plenty of other forums who will gladly except you. If you want to bash domains, that fine. But don't bash people, this is not the place for it.

Frank.

Warning issued to maddog. Dude, your are now just 3 points shy of a permanent ban.

Why don't you calm down and understand the forum and how things work around here before just basically making yourself look foolish?

I think this company will be a good company to register the .eu with

www.eurodns.com

Are .eu's going to be $100 to register I thought it was only going to be $40 but could of been speculation.

Armstrong is only doing his job, he doesn't need to take it easy. He is 100% correct in his statements, and actions. He needs to stop this type of "post" immediately. Keep up the good work, Armstrong.
